Dear members,
As you may be aware by now the BLTC Open will be taking place from Saturday 30th April until Saturday 7th May. This is our first Senior Open since 2019. This is a fantastic event for the club and we really want to put our best foot forward as we welcome players from all our neighbouring clubs over the week.
First up – we are looking for volunteers to help us run the Open. We are asking people to please give at least two hours of their time to help in the kitchen, to do some baking or to work on the registration desk over the course of the week. The individual volunteer slots are for two hours. We have created a Google Doc (link below) where you can slot your name in directly or else either email or call us with the time you would be happy to do. You can also call or text either Rosita on 0879838015 or Niamh Smith on 0879157169 if you would like to volunteer. To thank all our volunteers we will be running a 'Volunteer Raffle' at the end of the week for some prizes for volunteers!
Also we have some limited sponsorship opportunities available for members at the club who would like to advertise their personal or family business over the tournament. If you would like more information on this please email hennessy.niamh@gmail.com
