We as a committee are delighted to confirm that our BLTC Masters/ Vets tournament will take place next month, held at Bishopstown Tennis Club from Friday 4th Oct – Sunday 6th October 2024.
Entries for this competition are now open & can be found on the Tennis Ireland tournament website under the title “City of Cork Masters Tour 200 Open”

Please be aware that the Masters/Vet's categories are based on age categories as opposed to a players' grade, so starting from over 30s & the events go up in 5 year age categories.
For example a female or male player could enter the over 30s singles competition & be a grade 1 player but someone else could also enter the same category of a lower grade if they so wish, so in some events you could be drawn against an Inter pro player or a player of a higher grade than you.
There are three Mixed Doubles events – Mixed Doubles 4/5s, Combined age 90+ (means that both players need their combined ages to at least 90) & Combined age 120+ (means that both players need their combined ages to be at least 120).
