New and exciting developments at the club

Dear members,

Some updates for you below on new and exciting developments at the club.

Extended Opening Hours

We are delighted to let you know that from next week the club will be open from 8am and courts will be available to book on the system from that time. We will also be extending peak time from 7pm to 10pm so that members will have more availability to book courts from 9pm to 10pm given the brighter evenings. This means that the two hour extension will not be available from 8pm in the evenings for the summer.

New SmartCloud App

In addition we will also be sending you details on the new club app. One of the most exciting features of the app is members having the ability to top-up their court lights directly from the app while on court. This will cut out the need to go to the clubhouse to 'tap' if your lights run out mid-game.

New Club Shop

Also we are very excited to let me know that our new club shop is now up and running and you can find it on https://bltc.ie/merchandise/. There is a selection of BLTC clothing items available here and the wait time is aprox. four weeks. This shop will be open all year round and we will have an evening in the club over the coming weeks to show you some of the items and you can try on and check them out. The supplier did tell us however that the items run on the smaller side so just remember that when ordering.

Skills and Drills Session

We also have a very exciting event coming up. Head coach, Conor Twomey will be running a 'Skills and Drills' class on Sunday 9th June from 7pm to 9pm. This session is free to attend and open to all our adult members. One hour will be dedicated to grade six and ungraded players and the other hour will be open to grades two to five. Spaces will be limited for each session but for anyone who doesn't get a place there will be the opportunity to also observe. Registration will be open via Smart Club to sign up from tomorrow (Thurs 30th May) from 7pm.
