The key changes to our protocols in this phase of reopening include the following:

  • Double’s play involving players from different households is allowed from May 10th
  • Adult coaching can be delivered in pods of 6 players per court with 4 players on court at any one time from May 10th.
  • The restriction on inter county travel will be removed from May 10th.
  • Visitors can play at the club, with immediate effect, subject to approval of the Club Committee. Contact details for visiting players must be collected for contact tracing purposes.

Competitions and events are not allowed to return in this phase but will be allowed from June 7th. Our competitions Department are updating our protocols in this regard and these will be issued well in advance.

We are also endeavouring to ascertain from Sport Ireland if limited indoor tennis activities can take place from June 7th. Additional guidance in this regard will be issued in advance of this date also.

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact tennis Ireland.
