Cork Regional League is organised by the Munster Branch of Tennis Ireland & is open to Only Clubs from Cork City and County.
The Competition will be run on a league basis with a single round in each section. Each section will have four teams, if possible, and each team will have at least one home fixture. The winners of each section shall then enter a knockout competition to decide the overall winner. The draw and format of this shall be similar to all other Munster knockout competitions.
The League is a Mixed Doubles Competition & has 2 x Grades outlined below;
Grades “A” Division 1, 2, 3 – 3 x Men and 3 x Ladies “B” Division 4, 5, 6 – 3 x Men and 3 x Ladies
“A” Division Mixed Doubles – consists of 3 Men and 3 Ladies – Munster Grades 1, 2, 3. (a) Each team will consist of 3 mixed doubles pairings as follows:- No. 1 mixed doubles pairing from Grade 1 or lower No. 2 mixed pairing, neither of which is of a higher grade than Grade 2 No. 3 mixed pairing, neither of which is of a higher grade than Grade 3
“B” Division Mixed Doubles – 3 x Men and 3 x Ladies – Munster Grades 4, 5, 6. (g) Each team will consist of 3 mixed doubles pairings as follows:- No 1 mixed doubles neither of which is of a higher grade than Grade 4 No 2 mixed pairing, neither of which is of a higher grade than Grade 5 No 3 mixed pairing, neither of which is of a higher grade than Grade 6
