Clubnights for Tuesdays in November

Dear Members,

Following up from the demand of competitive Tennis on display throughout our Closed tournament, we are slightly changing up the format of Clubnight for the next 3 x Tuesdays in November.

This will give every player an opportunity to play comfortably within their grade & enjoy some competitive social Mixed Doubles games.

Therefore the format will be as follows and the event on 28th will be the last Club Night of the 2023 season:

·  Tuesday 14th November – All Grade 6 & ungraded players ONLY – Men & Women (registration open Fri 10th Nov)

·  Tuesday 21st November – All Grade 4/5s ONLY – Men & Women (registration open Fri 17th Nov)

·  Tuesday 28th November – All Grade 2/3s ONLY – Men & Women (registration open Fri 24th Nov)

Places will be limited to 10 x men & 10 x women for each Clubnight & registration will open the Friday morning beforehand at 9am via Smartclub app ( sign up under the tab “Events”,

Click on Ladies or Men's Clubnight and proceed to the checkout (making sure you check out the shopping cart to guarantee your participation).

If all the places are taken when you register, you will go onto the waitlist automatically. The Waitlist is not viewable to the players. If you need to cancel your place on club night you can do that up to Monday at 7 pm. If you need to cancel any later than that you will need to find a sub to stand in for you, failing to do this will impact the others taking part. Please be at the clubhouse at 18.50 on Tuesday night for the draw. We aim to be on the court at 19.00 sharp. There is a € 6 entry fee to pay on the night. This is a mixed doubles event. You will play 3 different matches, each match with a different partner against different opponents. There are prizes for the winners on the night.

Kind regards,

BLTC Committee
