BLTC Senior Close

Dear Members

We are pleased to announce that the Senior Closed tournament is now open for online entries. We would encourage everyone to enter as this is a great way to get both competition practice in a friendly environment prior to taking part in the many opens on across Munster during the warmer months but also it’s a fabulous way to meet other members that would be of similar playing ability as you. This year we are excited to introduce two new events. The first event is a Club Championship where we hope to find the best male and female players in the club. Everyone in the club is welcome to take part in this event, so if you feel you have what it takes to take on the best in our club, this is the event for you. The second new event is the orange ball doubles event and this is only open to the 48 people currently taking part in our beginner’s program.

The tournament will run from Sunday 31st October to Saturday 6th November. Everyone may enter up to a maximum of 3 events. In the tradition of the club, you will have a doubles partner drawn for you. That means that you click on “partner wanted” when entering online. In the event that there are not enough partners for everyone, preference will be given to people who entered first. Entry fees will be paid at the desk when you check-in for your first event. The charge is €5 per event plus a €5 Cover Charge per participant to cover the cost of some additional equipment hire and social activities that we will organize around the tournament for our members.  If any of our new members or anyone else not familiar with entering tournaments has any queries please contact the club captain (Dawn Caldwell 086 199 8192). She will be happy to assist.

Kind Regards

The Committee.
