To all BLTC Senior Members for 2021
Further to a general communication from the BLTC Committee back in January, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching both our Mens and Ladies Club Singles Ladders on Monday May 31st. We will be using functionality available to us within our Club Manager 365 system which everyone already uses to book courts. Following up from the initial communication on January 6th , 40 members expressed interest and signed up to participate. Since then we have configured the CM365 system to suit our needs and have moved these 40 names into the relevant Mens and Ladies tables.
We are writing today to encourage as many additional members as possible to sign up regardless of whether it is for a competitive or a fun purpose. We see this as a very important and exciting step-forward for our Club for multiple reasons; the available tools will make it very easy for everyone to participate, regardless of grade or experience, and help you to meet new people.
To enter the ladder or to confirm that your name is already listed, simply click the Ladder tab within Club Manager 365, then select Ladders and choose the Mens or Ladies Ladder from the Ladder list; from there you will be able to see the latest list of names – simply press the Join icon if you wish to be added. Do not worry about the current order of the names in the ladder lists; our events sub-committee will meet up next week and will re-sequence names before the official launch on 31st. This may not be perfect but the nature of a ladder and individual member engagements will naturally sort things out from that point onwards J.
To get a better understanding of the Ladder Rules, click the Ladder tab and then select Ladder Rules. It should be straight forward to understand but our Club Captain ( Captain@bltc.ie ) and other Committee Members are available to answer any specific questions that you may have pre or post launch. We are also re-attaching a You Tube link that was sent back in January to remind you of how the system works. While it will be possible for anyone to join a ladder after the Launch Date, we are very keen to kick things off from May 31st in the best way possible so we would ask all our members to confirm your interest and join as required by Wednesday May 26th.
