We, the Club Committee members would like to inform you of where we are at with our main development plans and decisions.
This is a very complex topic and we have been working hard in recent weeks to review all viable options open to us (what, when, how etc.).
We are planning to present these options to all members and hold a vote on same via an EGM and electronic ballot process to be held at the start of September.
It will be our members who ultimately decide on our development path forward and we will be in contact again with everyone closer to the date.
Also, we are about to commence a small project to refresh the downstairs lobby and the outside area under the balcony.
The scope of this work includes the installation of a water bottle refill station inside the shutters, plastering of the roof area under the balcony for fire safety reasons, the installation of a new front desk, new storage / shelving / seating inside the lobby, new lighting and painting of walls, ceilings and doors in both areas plus the stairwell to upstairs
The project will be ongoing intermittently over the next two months. From time to time there may be some access interruptions into the Clubhouse through the front door or even the threat of wet paint – we would ask that all our members respect any signage and also keep personal safety at the top of the agenda
