I hope I find you all well and enjoying this warm spell we are having and getting to play lots of tennis.
I want to take this time to remind everyone that we have a tennis ladder running continuously and I would encourage everyone to join. It's a great way to find opponents and to improve your tennis. When you join, you will be added to the end of the ladder and if you feel you are a beginner by all means stay there but if you think you have moved beyond the beginners stage please contact our Captain Dawn at, captain@bltc.ie and she can move you up. I would also encourage all the current ladder members to take and make challenges as this will make the ladder a success. These are tools the committee put in place to enable members to make the most out of the club but it takes all of you to make it a success.
It's very easy to join, log into CM365 by following the book-a-court link on our website. Once in, click the ladder tab at the top of the page, select either ladies or mens ladder and click the green join button.
This ladder along with the box league results will be used by the selection committee when making selections for the summer cup teams and the winter league teams. The ladder is open to everyone and we have all levels so please everyone help to make this a success and join.
For all of you that may not know what a tennis ladder is. It's basically a ladder of players, you get to challenge the two people above you and if you win you move up and if you lose you move down. Of course you also have to take challenges from the two people below you to keep this thing working.
